I’ve been a teacher and instructional coach in Washington, DC for twenty years. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with kids from pre-K-12th grade. Because of my range of experience, I have a clear understanding of what is expected of kids from one grade level to the next. I know which skills are most important for kids to master, and I know how to help them achieve mastery. I’ve taught all subjects and feel confident working with kids wherever they are on their path—whether they need additional support or an extra challenge.

I offer single sessions for kids to get a jump start on important skills, or to get unstuck when things get difficult. I also offer a series of sessions for kids who would benefit from sustained focus in a specific academic area.

I'm also here for parents. It’s hard to know what is expected of your child from one year to the next. I offer single sessions to help parents understand exactly what your child needs to be working on academically in math, reading, and writing as well as socially and emotionally.
